Prior to defrost remove the crackling from the container and set aside on a small baking tray and cover. Recover the pork belly with foil and place both in the fridge separately to defrost (preferably overnight)

*Portion size is a guideline, as it depends on one’s appetite and if any accompaniments are being served. 


Preheat oven to 180˚C.
Place the foil covered pork belly in the centre of the oven on a baking tray. This product is not suitable for grilling unless placed in an oven proof dish.
Total cooking time: 25-30 minutes
Cook for 15 minutes remove the foil, gently baste the pork belly with the sauce then cook for a further 10-15 minutes uncovered.
Place the crackling in the oven uncovered for 15 min to crisp up


Best served with our Creamy Mashed Potatoes and our Minted Peas with sauteed leeks and fresh mint.


Ensure food is piping hot throughout. If not, heat for an additional brief period. Allow food to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Once defrosted please keep refrigerated and eat within 48hours.
