Place food into a non-stick pot, heat slowly with a lid on, stirring intermittently, bring to a gentle simmer.

450ml (Serves 1)
Set on medium (700w). Slightly raise the lid of the container. Place in the middle of the microwave and heat for 2 minutes, gently stir, re-cover with raised lid and heat for a further 2-3 minutes.

900ml (Serves 2)
Set on medium (700w). Slightly raise the lid of the container. Place in the middle of the microwave and heat for 4 minutes, gently stir, re-cover with raised lid and heat for a further 2-4 minutes.

Frozen

450ml (Serves 1)
Set on medium (700w). Slightly raise the lid of the container. Place in the middle of the microwave and heat for 5 minutes, gently stir, re-cover with raised lid and heat for a further 2-4 minutes.

900ml (Serves 2)
Set on medium (700w). Slightly raise the lid of the container. Place in the middle of the microwave and heat for 8 minutes, gently stir, re-cover with raised lid and heat for a further 3-6 minutes.

 

Serving Suggestion

Best served with grilled chicken breast, beef fillet or prawns.

Please Note

Ensure food is piping hot throughout. If not, heat for an additional brief period.
Allow food to stand for 2 minutes before serving.
Once defrosted, please keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours.

Karen’s Tip

This Prego sauce should not be used as a marinade. For the perfect Prego, submerge cooked chicken breasts or beef steaks into the heated Prego sauce and serve from pan.
