Prior to defrosting, remove the crackling from the container and set aside on a small baking tray. Re-cover the pork belly with foil and place both in the fridge separately to defrost.

Defrosted

Preheat oven to 180˚C.
Place the foil covered pork belly in the centre of the oven on a baking tray.
Heat for 15 minutes remove the foil, gently baste the pork belly with the sauce.
Place crackling in the oven on a separate baking tray, heat pork belly and crackling for 10-15 minutes until crackling is crisp. Drizzle with accompanying sauce.
Total cooking time: 25-30 minutes

Defrosted

180˚C. Place the foil covered pork belly in the centre of the basket.
Heat for 15 minutes remove the foil, gently baste the pork belly with the sauce. Place crackling directly in the basket then heat pork belly and crackling for 10 minutes until crackling is crisp.
Drizzle with accompanying sauce.

 

Serving Suggestion

Best served with our Minted Peas and Creamy Mashed Potatoes, or our Egg Fried Rice.

Ensure food is piping hot throughout. If not, heat for an additional brief period. Allow food to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Once defrosted please keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours.
